Overview

Three separate cases concerning the CALFED process were originally filed in Superior Court in Sacramento, Fresno, and Orange counties. These cases challenge the Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR) for the CALFED Bay-Delta Program and the State of California’s agreements and obligations contained in the CALFED Programmatic Record of Decision (ROD). These separate cases are coordinated for trial proceedings before the Superior Court, Sacramento County. The coordinated proceeding is titled Bay-Delta Programmatic EIR Cases, No. JC 4152.

Tentative Rulings

Throughout the course of this action, the Court may utilize a Tentative Ruling process that may allow counsel to preview a proposed ruling prior to the actual hearing date.

Two court days prior to hearing on any pre-trial motion, the Court may post to this website a proposed ruling.  Counsel can view and download any such ruling by clicking on the Tentative Ruling option, then selecting the ruling for the particular calendar date.

Docket of Major Filings

The Docket is a listing of major pleadings, minute entries, and court orders filed in this coordinated proceeding. The docket number (serial number), date of filing, and brief title or description is provided for each document.
