Juvenile cases involving Vehicle Code
infractions (See
Uniform Traffic Bail Schedule
on the Traffic home page) are processed by the Traffic
Division at the Carol Miller Justice
Center. All other cases,
including traffic misdemeanor charges and all non-traffic
violations, are
processed at the
Juvenile Courthouse located on Kiefer Boulevard. A
parent or legal guardian may authorize the forfeiture of bail to clear
a case without appearing in court. If a minor wants to
enter a not guilty plea, both parent and child must appear in
court for arraignment on
the date and time listed on the courtesy notice. A parent
or legal guardian can waive his/her right to appear with the
minor child. The
signed authorization and waiver must in writing and are included on the courtesy
notice. A copy of the parent or guardian's valid driver's license, other
photo ID, or notarized signature must be provided with the
authorization and/or waiver. If you need further information or
